For nearly three years, I documented my van’s build on the Promaster forum and on my woodworking forum. Now, Photobucket has hijacked all my posted photos and holds them for a large ransom. This website recreates that documentation so that others may benefit.
Most people would consider the van finished. It is certainly totally functional. I will probably always consider it a work in progress because there is always something I can improve. In the upfitting process, MrNomer and I have fairly distinct roles. The design and woodworking are mine. The electrical and metal working are his.
MrNomer and I are in our early-mid 70’s. Hiking is our “thing,” both because we like it and because it keeps us in shape. Hiking is much more pleasant after a good night’s sleep.
